Winnie the Pooh at the Death Cafe

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet talking about continuing bonds....

Continuing bonds are those special connections we develop with those that we've lost, be they human or animal; love, or whatever it turns out to be, in absentia. Thomas Attig's book "The Heart of Grief - Death and the Search for Lasting Love" tells story after story of the power of these bonds.

Continuing bonds may be on the table for discussion  at Calgary's first ever Death Cafe; the conversation will be spontaneous and determined by the participants - whatever is on their minds about death is where the discussion will go. Maybe we'll talk about continuing bonds, maybe we'll talk about the Baby Boomers approach to death.....it's all up for grabs!

To participate in this new and stimulating venue for exploring your own thoughts and ideas, and questions, about death and dying, it's as easy as an email to me at wendymariek@gmail.com
